I’ll be touring Colorado in mid May for two exciting reasons… my favorite band (The Elovators) are playing at Redrocks Amphitheater and I’ll be doing a demo at Studio Nadeau. Ellen and I were studio mates when she was in Sausalito at the Wheelhouse - so looking forward to catching up over some clay and sharing some throwing tips with the class.

My favorite demos are the young ceramic artists - so this is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. I hope to share with the students my style of working with clay, discuss a range of firing processes and share how having art in your life can be an amazing thing for years to come.

I’ll be doing a private demo for the members of the Rossmoor Ceramics Art Club. Looking forward to sharing my thoughts and methods to get the clay to cooperate with my vision.
This was a really fun event… a room full of potters excited to hear and learn about methods to better control your clay! They have an amazing community studio out there.
Throwing Bootcamp with Brett Crawford

Its time for another wheel throwing bootcamp at the MVPS! 5 hours of working together on the wheel, with an hour break for lunch. This workshop is intended for intermediate and advanced potters that are interested in pushing their skills to the next level.

I’m going back to my roots for a day of demonstrations with my first ceramics teacher, Mrs. Aguayo. She planted the seed of ceramics with me back in 1990 - I could have never imagined that almost 30 years later I would be enjoying the shade and fruits from that tree!
